Ibanez TMB30-BK Talman E-Bass in Black!

I bought the TMB30 as a replacement bass. My expectations were high because of the good reviews. They have been fulfilled.
The bass was delivered by Kirstein quickly and well packaged. The workmanship is impeccable. The tuners work smoothly and without play. The pickups have, unlike feared, decent power. The pots could be a little more valuable. With almost every new guitar, some pioneering work has to be done: Here the fingerboard had to be oiled and the frets polished. The string action was ok. Unfortunately, the factory strings were junk. So new ones were put on. Without star deduction, because the instrument still has an excellent price-performance ratio.
From my side clear purchase recommendation!

So first the good news: The bass is the absolute HAMMER, beautiful and arrived (almost) perfectly adjusted with a super-low string action and fret-clean adjusted with me. I thought I'd probably have to replace the pickups (as is common in this price range), but guess what: the pickups are clear, concise and absolutely top notch! Have in my other Shortscaler of Jackson the EMG Beezer Butler Signature pickups and they sound different...but not necessarily "better"...

Now the slightly negative: Here and there you can see a somewhat cheap processing, for example, the plastic saddle probably does not hold 5 string changes and if you look in the light, you can see the one or other "dong" in the paint or in the pickguard. But hey: We are talking about a 170€ bass that sounds clean and can be played very well. Therefore, there is no point deduction, because other manufacturers deliver in this price range no or such a lousy bass, that it has washed. Therefore: Clear buy recommendation with minimal deductions ... who sees it that way ;-)
