This modeling combo could be used more as a means to seek a tone, but not really to play. A question of emotions and feelings. I found the sound, despite the infinite settings, cold and low. In a word : digital. This opinion is completely subjective.

I play with a jazz bass, for that a bigger speaker (12 or 15 inch) would be better than the 8'. Why not with a 15 inch. But we should not forget that the player makes the tone itself, not only the device.
