Rocktile E-Gitarren Bausatz HB-Style - Retoure (Zustand: sehr gut)

The base of the kit is excellent, the neck, the frets are all well made, no sharp-edged frets, I did not use the hardware and the pickups, but used good parts according to my ideas, e.g. locking tuners (Fame) pickups (Fleor), 4 x push/push pots (500 k).
The body was left natural, the sides stained and sealed with special wax and then polished.
I was particularly attracted by the paulownia body and it was worth it, thanks also for the perfect YouTube instructions.
For musicians who like to experiment, it was fun and I can only recommend this kit.

Fun to build, the result already sounds quite nice. Better elements and tuning techniques are the first upgrades I would do, but for now it's just a nice thing. Note that there is an error in the build instructions; the holes for the bridge should be 12mm, not 10mm. That's bigger to drill if you've already drilled 10, but easy to do without damaging the ceiling.

A very interesting product if you have DIY skills and you like the guitar. It combines both passions.

Like everything in life, it is not perfect. But it is good enough, the neck fits tightly in the pocket. The body is well finished with only small spots of glue that are easily removed. The bindings are a little messy, they were filled in where there were gaps to leave a good finished surface, but you would notice if you just stained the body. The neck is well finished with sanding sealer. The only problem is the dots on the sides, which could have been applied by a drunken ant! They stick out so much that I would have preferred to do this job myself, as it is fairly simple, rather than hire someone who is not capable of doing an accurate job. That being said, I won't make a difference in how the instrument plays. Overall, I am pleased with the kit, its packaging, and the quick delivery.
