Der Hollowbody in berühmter Violinbass-Form lässt schon rein optisch die Herzen aller Pilzkopf-Fans höher schlagen. Gleichzeitig hat Rocktiles "Black Magic" aber natürlich auch technisch und klanglich so einiges zu bieten. Der gewölbte Lindenkorpus mit Ahorndecke sorgt zusammen mit dem edlen Palisandergriffbrett auf geleimtem Ahornhals für einen wummigen, knackigen Sound, der ganz im Zeichen der revolutionären Sixties steht.
Wuchtiger Sound - Shortscale-Mensur
Dank der kürzeren Shortscale-Mensur greift sich der Bass auch für kleinere Hände optimal und eignet sich damit auch schon super für alle jüngeren Semester. Die beiden Humbucker sowie 2 Volume-Regler und die Klangregelung sorgen für genau den Sound, den ein E-Bass zu liefern hat: Wuchtige Tieftöne beleben die Stratosphäre und bleiben dabei beeindruckend prägnant, speziell wenn der Pickup-Schalter von "Rhythm" auf "Solo" gestellt wird.

I did not think that it looks so great. And the board is playable like butter. Extremely slim neck. Shortscale - only the string action was a bit high. But that's totally easy to adjust: Turn down the bridge screws, tighten the neck a bit more and the bass is extremely fun to play. I would buy again immediately and will definitely play him in the future acuh in my normal band project on stage ??
