If volume is required beyond the WG room, then a modeling (combo) amp is certainly better, but who wants to have many sounds, effects and good quality for little money, is well served with the GCE3, provided you have a computer (tablet) to be able to use the functions with the software - completely without you can only use the sound stored under the first memory location, ie a computer is necessary! One has then a problem-free interface that emulates (without burdening the PC) some of the well-known Zoom MultiFX - these are controlled on the screen, integration into DAW is possible without problems, with me there was a current Cubase 12 LE in addition. Driver as well as Instsllation under Windows10 without problems. Prior knowledge of MultiFX is appropriate, but then it is also suitable for entry into the DAW / recording. For the price super, the small part has its advantages somewhat hidden. The buttons etc. are deco (except for the headphone volume). I realized an amazing sound with small active boxes - and quiet enough. Would buy it again, but I knew the manufacturer. By the way, also for bass players !
