Advantages of digital displays

The display of lyrics and chords on monitors offers several advantages at once: so several displays can be controlled by one person, ideally synchronized to existing MIDI files and samples. In addition, the annoying and time-consuming scrolling through text folders is no longer necessary. Anyone who had to overcome this long, embarrassing phase of silence when spontaneous changes were made in the sequence of events, can sing a song about it. Last but not least, displays are always easy to read - even in the worst lighting conditions.

Mounting the adapter

On the underside of the adapter is a classic 3/8" screw thread, making the adapter fit on any conventional microphone stand. The counterpart - the hole plate - is screwed to the back of the screen and remains there. Through a simple but stable prism connection, the whole thing becomes an unbeatable unit. All monitors with a VESA hole pattern of 100 x 100 mm or 75 x 75 mm are suitable for this purpose.

Can this work with any microphone stand?

In principle, yes, but we recommend using it on a straight tripod. Depending on the weight of the screen, mounting it on a microphone boom or even on a gooseneck may not provide the desired stability. The use of a tripod with a round base is possible in principle, but due to the relatively small footprint and the overall high center of gravity, this variant is rather unstable.
