Schongau is a small town with about 12,000 inhabitants and is the town the farthest west in Upper Bavaria. It lies on the west bank of the Lech in Pfaffenwinkel. The old town has a town wall that is almost completely preserved.
By car
You can easily find us via B17 (exit Schongau West) or via B472.

For travel by train, get off at the Schongau station. From Munich, travel to Weilheim and change there. In Schongau, you can reach us within 5-10 minutes by taxi.
